1940 Mercury

 
 
The previous owner of this gorgeous 1940 Mercury lived in California the last eleven years. This car has been in Oklahoma about three months and before that, in a car museum in northern Idaho.

This car runs and drives great. The bumpers are in excellent condition except for some chrome flaking off on each end. It has the extra option bumper guards front and rear. The tires are like-new and have matching rings and caps. This Mercury has had all four fenders refinished, buffed and detailed.
It has a 1940 California tag displayed in front. The Oklahoma title and tag are current. It has the extra option fog lights. The hood mechanism works properly. The brakes and the wheel cylinders have been replaced in the last ninety days.

The interior is very nice, and the headliner and door panels are in excellent condition. Front seat belts have been installed. It has four vent windows, and the front cowl vent opens for fresh air.

This Mercury has the suicide doors. The inside garnish or window moldings are chrome and very attractive. The interior is in A+ condition. This Mercury has the outside running boards, extra option spot lights, and fender skirts.

The engine was rebuilt with new crank and pistons. It starts very easy and sounds terrific. The engine has extra chrome for display. The transmission is the factory three-speed on the column and shifts great. The car has dual exhaust.
