1969 Mustang Mach 1
 
 
This Mustang has been owned by the same family for the last seventeen years. About eight years ago they started a full restoration and the car has been parked inside their building due to a death in the family. This is a project car that is bargain priced.

We purchased the car with no bumpers or interior. Everything was in the wrapper and new boxes. We installed the bumpers and new interior including the front and rear seats, carpet, door panels, and dash overlay. The car still needs moldings and finish work. It has the side exhaust like the T/A Challenger. The mufflers are glass paks, and sounds like a muscle car.
The horn, lights, and turn signals are not hooked up. The car has no radio. The interior color is Dark Red Clarion.

The moldings around the grille and the quarter glass moldings are missing. The Mustang needs a rubber kit around the doors, trunk, and window felt replaced.

The Marti Report shows the paint as Wimbledon White. The car was painted about eight years ago and they did a very poor job. The rare options sometimes make a car much more valuable. This Mach 1 has a three speed transmission from the factory and shifts good.

The Mustang has a 351 engine with a two barrell carburetor. It starts and sounds good. The car drives and steers good. No power steering and no power brakes. The car is clean underneath and has had the two rear floor pans replaced. It had a new gas tank installed. It has a new battery and the front brakes have been replaced. It has new Michelin tires and the factory wheels.
